User unable to edit the field in the message console tab

Symptoms
User is unable to edit a field in the message console tab as shown below(field shows a drop down menu):
Resolution Summary
This issue was resolved by removing the options added under the Field option tab in the settings of the Dashboard.
Details
The client may raise an issue stating that they are not able to free edit a field in the message console tab.
Please follow the below steps in order to amend the field setting:
- Open settings on the Dashboard
- Field. Under Field options, there is an option to delete or edit any additional field options that have been added.
* Note that deleting the field options will allow the fields to be a free text field and remove the drop down menu when editing.
Cause
Issue is caused by a field option being added which in turn will create a drop down menu.
