Accessing Qlik Report from mCommons
Overview
Qlik reports provide a centralized dashboard that consolidates key metrics in one accessible location. This allows users to efficiently track and analyze data across different campaigns, broadcasts, time periods, and others. By leveraging these insights, you can make informed decisions based on real-time performance, identify trends, optimize strategies, and drive better outcomes.
User Roles and Access
Normal Company User

Qlik Button Visibility:

The Qlik button will not appear on the dashboard unless an admin enables access for the user.

Access Limitation:
-
Normal company users cannot edit or enable Qlik access for themselves or other users. If you have any questions about access, contact your account manager for assistance.

Admin User
-
Qlik Button Visibility:
-
The Qlik button is always, by default, visible for admin users. It will only be visible at the company level where it is enabled, not across all companies.

Enable Qlik Access:
-
Admin users must first enable Qlik access at the company level and then at the user level.
-
Admin users can edit user settings to enable or disable Qlik access for individual company users.

Note: Qlik reporting is not available for campaign users. Only company users and admin users have access to Qlik reports.
You must first enable Qlik access at the company level, followed by enabling it at the user level.
Enabling Qlik Access at Company level (Admin only)

Navigate to the specific company to enable the Qlik access.

Select the checkbox for Enable Qlik Report.
Enabling Qlik Access for Users (Admin Only)

Log in as an Admin User.

On the right side of the title bar, select your profile picture.

Select COMPANY AND USERS. The “Clients & Users” page opens.

In the “Clients & User” page, select a user to enable Qlik access.

Click the
Edit User icon.
The “Edit User” page opens.

Select the check box to enable Qlik access.
-
Click Update.
Qlik access will be set to "Yes" for users who have Qlik enabled.
The QLIK REPORTING button will now appear for the enabled user on their mCommonsdashboard.
To access Qlik reports, click the QLIK REPORTING button available at the top-right of mCommons dashboard. As a Qlik-enabled user, you can directly access Qlik reports from the mCommonsdashboard without the need for additional authentication credentials.
Note: The QLIK REPORTING button will be displayed in the company’s view. You need to switch over to a company to view the QLIK REPORTING button.
Note: (for admin) Enabling the Qlik reporting will not immediately show the Qlik reports to the user. It may take approximately one hour for the data to sync between mCommons and Qlik. The reports will become visible after the synchronization is complete.
Clicking the QLIK REPORTING button will seamlessly log you into Qlik, displaying the available streams in the left panel. These streams represent the companies configured for the user.

Admin Users: Admins will see all streams (companies enabled for Qlik reporting) in the left panel.

Company Users: Company users will only see the specific stream linked to their company in the left panel.
Selecting a stream will open a dedicated Qlik screen, where the corresponding report is presented.
You will see a list of sheets — these are the various reports available within Qlik.
The following reports are available in mCommons:
Subscriber Report
This report lists Total Subscriptions, Active Subscri ptions, Opt Ins, and Opt Outs. It can be used to:

Monitor the number of total and active subscriptions to understand your audience size.

Identify opt-in trends to measure engagement and growth.
-
Review opt-outs to gauge disengagement and refine communication strategies.
The following filters are available:

Company - Shows the sub companies of a company.
-
Campaign - Analyze campaign-specific engagement. Apply the campaign filter to assess how specific campaigns impact subscriber activity.

Broadcast - Analyze broadcast-specific engagement. Apply the broadcast filter to track subscriber behavior in response to specific broadcasts.

Time range - Review trends over a specific time frame using filters such as year, quarter, month-year, or week.

It also displays top 10 total subscriptions, top 10 active subscriptions, top 10 opt ins, and top 10 opt outs.
Clicks Report
This report lists Clicks versus Unique Clicks and Clicks Heatmap . It can be used to:

Examine total clicks versus unique clicks to assess audience interaction with your content.

Determine how often subscribers engage with a specific campaign or broadcast.

Analyze the clicks heatmap to understand the distribution of clicks over the days of the week by hour.

URL - Track engagement by analyzing clicks on specific URL within a campaign or broadcast.

SMS Report
This report lists Total SMS, Single SMS, Failover SMS, Multipart SMS, Number of SMS Multipart, and Messages Received. It can be used to:

Analyze the total number of SMS sent to measure overall message volume.

Review the split between single SMS and multipart SMS to understand content length and its impact.
-
Identify the number of failover SMS triggered to ensure message delivery reliability.
-
Assess failover trends to address potential issues with the primary delivery channel.
-
Evaluate the frequency and volume of multipart SMS to gauge how often extended messages are being sent.

Analyze the "Number of SMS Multipart" metric to identify campaigns or broadcasts with higher content density.

Compare metrics across campaigns to identify trends and improve messaging strategies.

This report lists total sent MMS (MT) and received MMS (MO). It can be used to:

Monitor the total number of MMS sent (MT) to assess the volume of multimedia messages distributed.

Review the number of MMS received (MO) to gauge audience engagement and response to multimedia content.

Compare sent and received MMS data (MT and MO) across campaigns or broadcasts to determine which ones generate the highest engagement.

Use performance data to enhance future MMS campaigns.

Calling Report
This report lists Phone calls, Transcribed minutes, Billable calls, and Billable minutes. It can be used to:

Analyze the total number of phone calls made to assess engagement levels and outreach effectiveness.

Review transcribed minutes to evaluate the extent of call transcription services being utilized. Use transcription data to gain insights into call content and improve communication strategies.

Assess billable calls or minutes to understand the cost associated with phone call campaigns.

Opt-in Path Report
This report lists Active Subscribers, Total messages, Messages sent, Messages received, Opt In, Opt Out, and Profiles. It can be used to:

Monitor the number of active subscribers to assess the size of your subscriber base.

Analyze opt-in and opt-out data to understand subscriber growth and retention trends.
-
Track total messages and messages sent to evaluate the volume of communication being sent to subscribers.

Analyze messages received to evaluate subscriber interaction with your messages.

Campaign - Apply the campaign filter to assess the performance of specific campaigns on key metrics like opt-ins, opt-outs, and message interactions.

Broadcast - Apply the broadcast filter to evaluate the success of individual broadcasts in terms of messages sent, received, and subscriber engagement.

Opt-in Name - Filter by a specific opt-in name.

Keyword - Filter by a keyword.

Time range - Apply time filters (year, quarter, month-year, week) to understand how subscriber activity and message interactions evolve over time.

Navigating Between Sheets
You can navigate between sheets in two ways:

Using the top-right navigation menu’s left or right buttons.
-
Using the Sheets dropdown navigation.
The Sheets dropdown navigation is useful for managing multiple sheets. Click the Sheets dropdown to see a list of available sheets and select the one you want to view.
Downloading Your Sheets
1. Hover over the top-right corner of your sheet and click the ellipsis menu.
2. Select Download As… from the dropdown menu.
3. Choose to export the data as an image, a PDF file, or data (.xlsx file).
Filters
Qlik allows you to add multiple filters to refine your data.
Adding a Filter

Click the checkmark above the column you want to filter.

Select the desired filter criteria.
Removing a Filter

Click x remove icon next to the filter to remove it.

To clear all filters, click the x remove icon labeled “Clear All Selections.”
Filtering by Date Columns

Click the magnifying glass next to a date field to open the search bar.
-
Enter your search criteria (for example, “2023”) and press Enter to apply the filter.
