Waterfall: How to Verify Message Delivery Using the Message ID
Environment
- Waterfall
Resolution Summary
We examined the UI and backend platform and informed the status of message deliveries.
Details
If the customer has provided message IDs, follow the steps below to find the mobile number and status:
- Log in to Kibana CXM.
- Navigate to the Dashboard.
- Search for "PLE-Core" and select it.
- Use the message ID provided by the customer to conduct a search. Ensure the ID is in quotes - for example, "2410012310AAAAAB".
- Filter your results by time. If the customer did not provide a specific time, ask them for this information; otherwise, filter for the last 60 or 90 days as a default.
- Look under the "General" section; here, you should find the user's mobile number. Note down the date and time as well.
- Take this mobile number and search for it in UI and Infobip Kibana.
- Locate the delivery status of the message.
- Confirm whether the message was delivered. If it was not, identify the reason.
These steps will enable you to find the relevant mobile number and the status of the message in question..
Internal Information
The customer provided us with nine message IDs. Upon reviewing these, I informed the customer that messages were successfully sent to six of the users associated with these IDs. However, we were unable to find any data for the remaining three message IDs. This is because our system only retains data for up to 90 days, and these particular messages exceeded that timeframe. Consequently, we were unable to retrieve any data for them. NOTE: You can use ticket number #1624093 as a reference.
