Resolution Summary

Customers initiate the opt out process via texting end to the number quoted on their received text or by Depot following internal process - advised Service Centre could help them with this if unaware of the process

Details

1. Go to Red admin
2. go to Monitoring
3. maintain subscriber
4. find Howden's Joinery subscriber and link to subscriber
5. Go to contacts
6. find a person
7. type in the mobile number
8. In Company click doropdwn and find the depot this customer is in
9. Click find
   1. if the details come up for this number it has NOT BEEN OPTED OUT
   2. If the details do not come up for this number then this is not on this Depots directory and therefore cannot get any texts
10. Go to Dragon
11. In the search field on the top right find Howdens 
    
    
12. Then click on CRM as shown highlighted above
13. Click on Search
14. In Mobile number paste in the mobile number in question (take out any spaces)
15. Click on search
16. If a page such as below comes up then the customer has not sent a text message in correctly as outlined in the footer of the Howdens text messages, to opt out
    
17. So as far as we can see they have not opted out via text message
18. Advise the customer that we have checked out records and that the number is still on the directory (if it is) and we have also checked and cannot see that we have received a text correctly from that mobile number to opt the customer out
19. Advise them that they can opt the customer out manually by contacting their Head Office and if they are unsure how to do this they can speak to their Support Centre at their Head Office who will be able to guide them through the process
