Procomms: How to find if a text message has been sent

Checked to see if text message was sent by User

There are two ways to do this either by logging as the user via RA and checking or by going into URM and checking all of the texts which have been sent to that particular number (this will bring up ALL texts sent via Rant & Rave desktop to that number) Checking via RA will only bring up texts sent this month and last month whereas URM will go back further

CHECKING VIA RA

1. Log into RA as the Company and the User who sent the text message
2. Go to text
3. Sent
4. Click on view against the text in question
5. This will show the list of recipients which the message was sent to, or attempted to be sent to
6. Click on Ctrl and F on your keyboard once on this page
7. In the search box type in the mobile number you are looking for in the format 447 (so if the number is 077 then search in the format 4477)
   - if this number is found then it will show up as highlighted possibly in orange
8. To see if this message has hit a live handset it will show message delivery has been confirmed.  If it shows Message sent successfully instead this means that the network has not as yet been able to deliver this - maybe due to the phone being off network or it not being a valid number

CHECKING VIA URM

1. Log into URM
2. Go to Rapide support
3. SMS Search
4. type the mobile number in without the leading zero and without any spaces
   - Text messages sent to this number will appear and these are texts sent from any customer's account so be careful that you only give the customer information relating to their account and not any other texts sent via different customers
5. You will see the date and time of the text, the users name and the company that the text was sent from and then you will also see the start of the text message
   
6. If you click on the message you are interested in this will give you full details of the content of the message sent

BOTH OF THESE METHODS SHOWS THAT A TEXT WAS SENT VIA RANT & RAVE - Only by checking the confirmation status can you tell if it has hit a live handset (not necessarily read but it has been received by the handset, according to the network)
