Shared inbox is currently jonly used by cadent GDFO and is a bespoke service.
It is to enable engineers or whoever to text into a central point and their texts actioned by an internal team
(This is not the same a replypath where a person can reply to a tet message sent and that reply can only be seen by the User who sent the original outgoing message)
The Engineers or whoever needs to be able to send text messages into this service are given a designated longdial number to which they send their texts in. These texts are then received by a team of people who log in as themselves but have access once they have logged in to see the shared inbox - this is only visible when logged in as the user into their account, you cannot see this from the RA or red admin screen
This means that the desktop users who log in can see all incoming tets for their area sent to their deskignated number or they can filter down to their area. They then action these by either doing what is asked or reply bck to the sender and then they archive the texts
