Details

MOD have a large number of accounts with Rant & Rave comprising of ships, submarines and various  offices.  They are all governed by one administrator Matt Crane matt.crane607@mod.gov.uk.  It is Matt who will authorise any changes of users to ANY of the accounts which start with MOD NC HQ 

DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO AN ACCOUNT IF THE REQUESTOR IS NOT THE PERSON WHO IS SET UP ON THAT PARTICULAR ACCOUNT - do not add/amend any lists or users or any other request

If the requester of the email is not the person set up on the account then reply to the requesters email and advise that you have a different person set up and therefore you cannot proceed with their request until we have them set up on the account.  The person to do this is Matt Crane and copy in Matt to the email.  Advise that we will need to wait for authority from Matt to proceed with their request, but in the meantime they can reach out to Matt directly if they wish

TO FIND THE USERS ON A PARTICULAR ACCOUNT

  • Log onto RA
  • type in MOD in the company name
  • click search
  • This will bring up all of the accounts we have for MOD
    • All of the ships etc will start with MOD NC HQ - HMS and the name of the ship 
    • All of the other areas or vessels will start with MOD NC HQ - and then the name of the area or vessel
  • Click on to the name of the account required
  • This will bring up all of the users registered on this particular account
    • If this is not the same as the requester then please follow the above steps for the reply email
    • If instead of a person it shows an area or rank then click on that name and this will take you into the account
      • The email address will show at the top of the screen.  If this is different in any way from the requester then follow the above steps for the reply email
