Resolution Summary

Request to re-subscribe profiles that were opted out previously but later signed up through a form to be texted.

It's not allowed to bulk subscribe previously opted-out profiles through the UI. So, I worked on bulk subscribe these on our end.

Details

It's not allowed to bulk subscribe previously opted-out profiles through the UI. As a workaround, you can do the following, if we know the oped out users provided their consent to be texted.

1. Use the https://secure.mcommons.com/profiles/join endpoint used for webform submissions to bulk subscribe that list to an OIP that is setup to not send a message ex: https://secure.mcommons.com/campaigns/232650/opt_in_paths/335038
2. You can use Postman (third-party API client) collection feature to automate the bulk subscription process (iterate the request over the list of phone numbers).
