Provided information on Opt-Outs
Answer
A user can stop receiving texts from your organization’s mobile list by texting a STOP word (stop, cancel, unsubscribe, end, quit, f&*k you) to your shortcode. By opting out, users will no longer receive any text messages from you, including broadcasts, tell-a-friend invitations, and post-call follow-up texts. But don’t worry – they can still make calls using VoIP numbers or click-to-call forms.
For accounts on shared shortcodes, a user’s opt-out message will only unsubscribe them from the organization’s mobile list that they most recently interacted with. If a user unsubscribed accidentally, they can rejoin the mobile list by just texting the word “OOPS”, or any of your keywords, to your shortcode.
You can search for opt-out/unsubscribe messages in your inbox:
Personalize your opt-out message:
You can personalize the opt-out message your supporters receive for each active campaign you are running. Click into any of your active campaigns, click “Edit Campaign” from the “Campaign Actions” menu, and then customize your STOP message. Don’t forget, stop messages should still identify your organization, provide a help email or phone, and remind people they can text OOPS to rejoin the list.
Note: You are customizing the opt-out message for a certain active campaign, but if someone texts in a STOP word, they will be opted out of ALL active campaigns, not only the one with the customized opt-out message. This is done by design.
