Provided information on Message Schedules

About
Message Schedules allow Mobile Commons users to set a group of messages to go out at a specific time and date in the future or relative to a set date (most commonly opt-in). You can only have 1 message schedule per campaign. You can create one message schedule for each active campaign. You can create your message schedule by adding rows of messages or simply uploading a CSV of messages.
Mobile Commons offers two types of message schedules: absolute and relative. Please read our articles on each of these types, hyperlinked below. This article will cover tools and setup that is consistent across both types.
An absolute message schedule sends out messages at a specific date and time that you specify (8/15/17 at 3pm EDT or a custom time field).
A relative message schedule sends the message out at time you specify (3pm EDT or custom time field). For relative schedules the date will be relative to a date stored on the subscriber’s profile in a standard or custom date field.
Setting Delivery Times
Mobile Commons allows you to set the time the message will go out as a hard and fast time, i.e. 3pm ET; a time that is relative to each subscribers timezone, i.e. 3pm ET for eastern timezone subscribers and 3pm PT for pacific timezone subscribers or even at a custom time you've stored for subscribers-like "reminder_one". When utilizing a custom time field you will also select a default time (i.e. 3pm in each timezone) so any subscribers without that custom time field stored will still receive your message.
Custom time field set up is available to use via each row or through a csv template. All csv templates are attached.
Timezone Options are found on the first page of your message schedule set up.
Adding Rows
Message Schedules allow Mobile Commons users to set a group of messages to go out at a specific time and date in the future or relative to a set date (most commonly opt-in).
First go to "Content Actions" under your message schedule. Select "Add New Row"
Then you can add your messages row by row. If it's a relative schedule you'll denote how many days from the target date the message should go out. If it's an absolute schedule you'll input the actual calendar date you want the message to send.
When using custom time fields, be sure to enter in a "default" time in the "hour" and "minute" sections. If a subscriber does not have the custom time field filled in on their profile, they'll get the message at this default time.
Making Edits to the Message Schedule
You can make updates to your schedule by selecting Edit Schedule from the Campaigns page.
- To change the name of the schedule or change the relative date field, click Edit Details
- To edit the messages themselves, click the pencil and paper next to the message. From here you can edit the day/date, hour, and minute that the messages go out. To add a message, save responses or change anything from the ‘What do you want to do?’ box, click Edit Conversation
- To add more messages select "Add New Row". If you want to upload a csv of additional messages it will replace your current uploaded csv. You should either include all your previous messages in your csv if you still want those messages in your schedule. This will remove your access to previous message send numbers. We recommend only adding new messages by row.
