Resolution Summary

 

Communicated that no, it will create records for both active and opted out profiles.

Answer

 

All the records/profiles that are synced between MC and SC must have a value in the Opt-in status field. If we require this field in the field mapping page, this will not affect how the integration works.

  • Active subscribers/profiles will have the value True in the opt-in status field.
  • Opted-out profiles and the profiles with no subscriptions will have the value False in the opt-in status field.
