OVERVIEW
- On Friday, April 18th, 2025, one of the broadcasts failed to deliver messages to the intended recipients.
ROOT CAUSE & REMEDIATION
- ROOT CAUSE:
- Some configuration updates were made to platform companies that are related to functionality included in the April 16th release.
- Some companies that had been more recently added to the platform were later found to be incorrectly configured on the backend. As a result, broadcasts sent from these companies failed to be delivered.
- On April 18th, a script was run to identify and reconfigure the affected companies, resolving the issue. All scheduled broadcasts that had not yet been sent from these companies were reprocessed by the engineering team to ensure successful delivery.
- On April 21st, it was observed that recurring broadcasts were still affected by this issue. A hotfix was prepared and released the same day, fully resolving the problem.
