Setting Up a Trackable Link

1. Within your HIP, click on ‘Interactions’
2. Choose ‘Trackables’ under Campaigns
   

   

3. Click ‘New’ to set up a new trackable URL.
   

   

4. Enter your standard URL and the description.  The description is internal and allows you to identify each trackable link when doing reporting. 
5. Once you click save you will be given a Trackable ID that you will include as a variable in your message.
   

   

6. In your message set up, you will include a variable with the ID in it. It will look like: CLIENT: U r entered to win prizes from Client. Click on this link $Track{43} to join the Steak VIP Rewards Program for great announcements.
7. The URL will be shortened to 23 characters.

Reporting on a Trackable Link

1. Within your HIP, click on ‘Interactions’
2. Choose ‘Trackables’ under Campaigns
3. Choose the ‘Reports’ Tab
   

   

     
4. Choose the link you want to report on
5. Choose Summary or Detailed report 
6. Modify your date/time
7. Click ‘Generate Report’
8. A CSV file will be generated and downloaded to your desktop
