Consumer Groups: Allows a user to group together multiple attributes using AND/OR logic.
Create a group:
- On your dashboard, click on “Consumer Groups”

You will be taken into the Consumer Groups Module that will show you all the groups you have already set up or it will be blank if there are none available yet. - Decide if your group will be inclusive (OR) or exclusive (AND). Click on the box and drag to choose.
- On the right hand side you will see an “Actions” button – click on it and you will see a “create groups” button appear.

Click on “Create Group” and you will get a box that asks you to name the group.
- Name the group and click “Save Changes”

- To add attributes/constraints to the group – click “Make Changes

Decide if your group will be inclusive (OR) or exclusive (AND). Click on the box and drag to choose.
- To add constraints/attributes click “Add More” on the right side.
- A box will pop up that will include all your attributes available. This includes all rebounds, pushes, groups … etc.
- Choose your attribute from the drop down and click on the “where the attribute:” drop down to choose the status of the attribute. (exists, does not exist…etc.
- Examples of both AND and OR scenarios below.
- AND – you want to narrow down the group to only include very specific attributes and not others.
- OR – you want to build a group based on a few different attributes and not exclude on the basis of specifics.
- Once you have completed your group click “Save Changes”.
- You will see a pop up box that allows you to “Publish Now” or “Finish”
- Choose “Publish Now” to populate your group
Once the group has been published your screen will show the group and how many active consumers are currently in it.
- On the left you will see a list of all the groups that have been created in your system.
Things to note:
- You will see each “group” along with the total number of subscribers. That total is as of 12am EST. The groups are updated once a day.
- If you want to manually update the group – click on the group, click “make changes”, then “save changes”, then “publish now”.
