How To Send A Text (Push)

1. Login to your HIP
2. Click on the “Interactions” Module
3. Under Campaigns in the top menu bar: Click “New”
   

   

4. You will be taken into the set-up wizard.
5. Fill out the name of the campaign and the type.
   • Name recommendation – start with the date you are sending the message and what the message is about.
   • Type: Push
   • Program: you can leave this empty
     

     

      

6. Click on “Create Campaign”.
7. Enter the message you want to send into the “Outbound Message” box.
8. Turn “Personalize” off.
9. “Add System Prefix” stays on.
10. Check to make sure you are within the 160 character limit.
    

    

11. Choose when you want the message to go out.
    • How often
    • What day
    • What time
12. Put the “Name” of the push into the “Campaign Clarifier” box
    

    

13. Decide who you are sending it to.
    • Choose the Group of people to send the message to by picking from the drop down. *if you don’t have a group set up, you can pick from the “attribute” tab.
14. Save and Validate.
